This is a repeat read from our local library in our house. Bartleby Speaks by Robin Cruise is a story about a little boy who has never spoken a word. Everyone tries to get him to speak but he just won't. In the end they learn that we can't rush someone to do something. They'll do it when they are ready and that is just what Bartleby does.
