We are still really busy and I'm not planning on posting much, but I thought I'd share what I've been up to. I've been working on organizing, getting a routine going, getting activities organized and working on our business. It sucks that I have to put this on hold a bit, but sometimes these things are necessary. The picture above isn't the most beautiful, but I thought I'd throw it together quickly for you to see some of the pages I made and shared. If there is interest here, I can share these with you guys as well. Let me know.
It seemed hard to find what I wanted online, so I took ideas that I likes and altered it to fit our lives. It may be hard to use these sheets if you aren't a similar homeschooling style as us. The Project Tracker is my favourite sheet. It's working out great to help me observe, track, and facilitate future projects.
I'm reading a few books right now. It's been hard to get through my reading. So much of my time and energy is spent on my family. Even at night I read the kids to sleep, so it seems hard to get my reading time in. Here is one book that I am finding very interesting. It's called Project-Based Homeschooling by Lori Pickert.
I'm hoping that taking more time to organize and read that I can get even more on track. I am feeling so much better already. I think sometimes it takes some big changes to bring more harmony into our home. Moving and other big changes that are hard to control can really make it hard to get any sense of harmony back.
I've not been taking as many pictures of the kids, but there are a few projects that we've been working on that are really cool and I'd love to eventually share with you guys. With my project sheet I've been watching and helping to facilitate more projects relating to interests that I see in the kids. Some of the projects that we've ended up doing are pretty amazing!
No promises on when I can post again, but we'll be back.
