We read the book Scranimals by Jack Prelutsky. It's a poetic story of animals that are all mixed up with other animals or plants. Austyn was inspired and went right to work creating mixed up dragons.
The dragon on the left is a Cheetah Dragon and the one on the left is a Dragon Eagle.

Cute! Would be fun with "If I ran the Zoo" by Dr. Suess, too!
That seems like a great book to come up with your own animals!

Never heard of the book. Sounds like one that might work for poetry month. I love the creative animals.
